Terms of Service

This website and online store are operated by Little Chefs Club (“Little Chefs Club”, “we”, “us” and “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, online store, digital content, recipes, printable materials, child-friendly kitchen tools, accessories and any other products or services we may offer from time to time (collectively, the “Service” and “Products”).

By visiting our website, creating an account, placing an order, downloading a digital product, subscribing to our mailing list, tagging us on social media or otherwise using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with any policies referenced in them, including our Privacy Policy, Returns and Refunds Policy, Shipping Policy and any product-specific terms displayed at checkout or on a product page.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website, purchase or download our Products, or use our Service.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection, electronic commerce, product safety, food safety, data protection or other applicable laws.

  • Adult: means a parent, guardian, caregiver, educator or other responsible person who is legally able to supervise a child.
  • Digital Products: means downloadable or electronically delivered products, including PDF visual recipe books, recipe cards, shopping lists, safety guides, worksheets, printable signs, illustrations and other digital resources.
  • Physical Products: means tangible products sold by us, including child-friendly knives, utensils, cutters, recipe kits, laminated cards, printed cards, accessories and any future physical products.
  • Recipes: means any recipe, food activity, food preparation guide, visual step sequence, ingredient list, shopping list, allergen information, safety note or nutrition-related information provided by Little Chefs Club.
  • Child-Friendly Kitchen Tools: means tools designed or marketed to support supervised children’s cooking activities. This may include knives, utensils and cutters. These items are not toys unless we expressly describe them as toys on the relevant product page.
  • You: means the person accessing the website, purchasing Products, downloading Digital Products or using the Service. Where Products are used by a child, “you” includes the Adult responsible for that child.

Our website and online checkout are intended for use by Adults only. By placing an order or using paid features, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Our Products are designed to support children’s learning and cooking activities, but they must be selected, prepared and supervised by an Adult. Children may not purchase Products or use our website unsupervised.

If a child uses any Digital Product, Recipe, utensil, safe knife, cutter or other Product, the Adult supervising that child is responsible for ensuring that the Product is appropriate for the child’s age, maturity, ability, allergies, food restrictions and environment.

You agree that:

  • An Adult must supervise children when using Recipes, Digital Products, knives, cutters, utensils, ovens, stovetops, microwaves, blenders, scissors, graters, skewers, glassware or any other kitchen equipment.
  • Heat, sharp objects and electrical appliances must be handled by an Adult, unless the Adult determines, based on the child’s age, ability and the nature of the activity, that the child may safely participate under close adult supervision. In such cases, the Adult must remain present, provide guidance, monitor the child closely and intervene immediately where required.
  • You must read all product descriptions, instructions, warnings, age guidance, care instructions and packaging information before use.
  • You must inspect Physical Products before each use and stop using any product that is damaged, cracked, loose, broken, excessively worn or otherwise unsafe.
  • You must keep small parts, packaging, strings, bags and other potential choking or suffocation hazards away from children.
  • You must use Products only for their intended purpose and in accordance with the product page, packaging and instructions.

Where we use words such as “safe”, “child-safe”, “kid-safe”, “safe knife” or similar descriptions, these words refer to the design intention to reduce risk when used correctly and under Adult supervision. They do not mean that the Product is risk-free, cannot cause injury, or is suitable for every child or every activity.

Our Recipes and food-related content are provided for general educational, family and recreational use. They are not medical, dietary, nutritional, therapeutic or professional advice.

You are responsible for checking all ingredients, labels and packaging before use, including allergen statements, cross-contamination warnings, expiry dates, storage instructions and preparation instructions. Ingredients and manufacturer formulations may change without our knowledge.

Allergen awareness information in our Products is intended as a helpful guide only. It may not be complete for every brand, substitution, country, facility or individual sensitivity. If you or a child has a food allergy, intolerance, medical condition, special diet or feeding concern, consult an appropriate healthcare professional before using a Recipe or ingredient.

Any nutrition information, portion guidance, ingredient benefits or suggested substitutions are approximate and for general information only. You must use your own judgement and seek professional advice where needed.

You are responsible for safe food handling, hygiene, cooking temperatures, cooling, storage, reheating and preventing cross-contamination. Little Chefs Club is not responsible for illness or injury resulting from improper food handling, unsuitable ingredients, inadequate supervision or misuse of our Products.

When you purchase or access a Digital Product, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use that Digital Product for your own personal, domestic and non-commercial use, unless the product page expressly states that a different licence applies.

You may print and laminate Digital Products for your own household use. If you are a teacher, school, nursery, therapist, club, cooking instructor, content creator or business, you may need a separate classroom, group-use, commercial or professional licence unless the relevant product page clearly allows that use.

Unless we have given you written permission, you must not:

  • share, forward, upload, resell, redistribute, lend, gift, publish or post our Digital Products or download links;
  • copy our layouts, illustrations, visual recipe steps, shopping lists, safety signs, branding or other creative material to create your own product, course, recipe book, app, printable, social media pack or competing resource;
  • remove watermarks, copyright notices, branding, safety warnings or licence information;
  • use our Digital Products for paid classes, commercial workshops, school-wide programmes, franchises, resale bundles or public libraries without written permission; or
  • use bots, scraping tools or file-sharing systems to access, copy or distribute our content.

Digital Products are usually delivered by email, download link, account access or another electronic method. Download links may expire or be limited for fraud-prevention and security reasons. You are responsible for downloading and safely storing your purchased files. We may assist with re-sending a link where reasonably possible, but we do not guarantee indefinite access to files after delivery.

Physical Products may include child-friendly kitchen tools, laminated or printed recipe cards, kits, accessories and future products. Product descriptions, photographs, colours, sizes and packaging are provided as accurately as reasonably possible, but small differences may occur due to screen settings, manufacturing batches, supplier changes and product improvements.

Child-friendly tools are intended for supervised food preparation activities. They are not toys unless we expressly state otherwise. They may still cut, pinch, scratch, break, become sharp, cause injury, or be misused. Adult supervision is always required.

You must not use child-friendly knives or utensils on inappropriate materials such as frozen food, bones, very hard vegetables, packaging, non-food items or surfaces that may cause the product to slip, crack or break. Use a stable surface and appropriate cutting board.

We may update, improve, discontinue or replace Physical Products at any time. Any product guidance, age recommendation or safety note is general guidance only and may not be suitable for every child.

Products may be available in limited quantities and may be sold online only. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse or cancel orders, discontinue Products, introduce new Products, change Product descriptions or pricing, and correct errors at any time, subject to applicable law.

If a Product is out of stock, made to order, on pre-order or requires supplier manufacturing, the product page or our communication may provide an estimated dispatch timeframe. Estimated timeframes are not guarantees. For some special orders or pre-orders, please allow approximately 6 to 8 weeks plus delivery time unless a different timeframe is stated.

Any future products, resources, courses, subscriptions, memberships, kits, tools, events or other features we release will also be subject to these Terms, unless separate terms apply.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate order, billing, delivery and contact information. We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, lost downloads or failed communications caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you.

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website and may change without notice. Prices may exclude delivery charges, taxes, customs duties, import fees or other third-party charges unless expressly stated otherwise. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties or import requirements in your jurisdiction.

We may use third-party payment processors. Payment information is processed according to the relevant payment processor’s terms and security measures. We do not promise that any payment system is error-free, but we will take reasonable steps required by applicable law to use secure payment methods.

We may refuse, limit or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised payment, pricing error, reseller activity, abuse of promotions, misuse of our Products or breach of these Terms. If we cancel a paid order, we will deal with any refund in accordance with applicable law and our Returns and Refunds section below.

Digital Products are delivered electronically. Physical Products are delivered to the address you provide at checkout or through another agreed delivery method. Delivery dates are estimates only unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

Risk of loss or damage for Physical Products passes in accordance with applicable consumer law and the delivery method used. If a parcel arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs of the packaging and product.

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, customs delays, incorrect delivery details, public holidays, supplier delays, strikes, severe weather, system outages or force majeure events.

This section applies together with any separate Returns and Refunds Policy displayed on our website. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Digital Products: Because Digital Products are delivered electronically and can be copied once delivered, sales of Digital Products are generally final once the download link, file, email or account access has been made available to you, unless applicable law requires otherwise or the product is defective, inaccessible due to our fault, or materially different from its description. If you experience a technical issue with a Digital Product, contact us so we can reasonably try to assist, resend the file, fix the issue or provide another remedy required by law.

Physical Products: You may be entitled to return, exchange, repair or refund a Physical Product if it is defective, damaged, incorrect or not as described, subject to applicable law. Please do not continue using a product that you believe is defective.

Change-of-mind returns for Physical Products may be accepted only if our Returns and Refunds Policy allows it and the product is unused, undamaged, in its original packaging and returned within the stated timeframe. We may refuse returns where the product has been used, damaged after delivery, altered, washed incorrectly, personalised, custom-made, missing parts, or is not in a resalable condition, subject to applicable law.

Where a return is approved, you must follow our return instructions. You may be responsible for return delivery costs unless applicable law or our policy says otherwise. Original delivery fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

Promotions, discount codes, launch offers, free gifts, giveaways and gift cards may be subject to additional terms, expiry dates, usage limits and exclusions. We may correct, withdraw or refuse a promotion where there is error, misuse, fraud or breach of the promotion terms, subject to applicable law.

Unless stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash, combined with other offers, applied retrospectively or used for shipping, taxes, gift cards or excluded Products.

We love seeing families cook together. If you tag Little Chefs Club, submit a review, comment, photograph, video, testimonial, recipe idea, suggestion, message or other content to us or about us (“User Content”), you confirm that you own the content or have permission to share it.

You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, repost, share, edit, crop, reproduce and display your User Content for our website, social media, advertising, marketing, product development and community purposes, unless you clearly tell us in writing that we may not do so.

If any User Content includes a child, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you have permission from the child’s parent or legal guardian to share it. You also confirm that our use of the content will not breach any privacy rights, school rules, child protection requirements or other applicable consent requirements.

We may remove, edit or refuse User Content that we consider unlawful, unsafe, misleading, offensive, inappropriate, infringing, harmful to children, or inconsistent with our brand or community standards.

All rights in the Little Chefs Club name, logo, branding, illustrations, photographs, graphics, recipe-card designs, visual step sequences, shopping lists, safety icons, written content, Digital Products, website content and Product packaging are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Purchasing a Product does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights to you. You may use our Products only as permitted in these Terms or as expressly stated on the relevant product page.

You may not reproduce, copy, adapt, translate, modify, distribute, publish, display, sell, resell, licence, rent, share, scrape or commercially exploit any part of our Service or Products without our prior written permission, except to the extent expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

Our website may include links to third-party websites, payment processors, delivery providers, design tools, social media platforms, email platforms or other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party websites, policies, content, security, delivery, availability, products or services.

Your use of third-party tools or links is at your own risk and may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies. Complaints or queries about third-party products or services should be directed to the relevant third party, unless applicable law requires us to assist you.

Your submission of personal information through our website, checkout, mailing list, social media, forms or customer support channels is governed by our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy should explain what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and your rights.

If you sign up for newsletters, updates, recipe ideas or promotions, you agree to receive those communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Transactional emails relating to orders, downloads, safety notices or customer service may still be sent where necessary.

We may use cookies or similar technologies to operate the website, improve your experience, analyse website performance and support marketing, where permitted by law and our Privacy Policy.

You must not use our website, Products or Service:

  • for any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, unsafe or unauthorised purpose;
  • to infringe our intellectual property rights or the rights of any third party;
  • to copy, resell, redistribute or commercially exploit our Digital Products or content;
  • to upload or transmit viruses, malware, code or anything that may disrupt the website;
  • to scrape, crawl, spider, data-mine or use automated tools without our written permission;
  • to harass, abuse, defame, threaten, discriminate or harm any person;
  • to submit false, misleading, offensive or inappropriate information or User Content;
  • to collect or track personal information of others;
  • to bypass security, payment, licence, download or access controls; or
  • to misuse our Products in a manner inconsistent with safety instructions, Adult supervision requirements or applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Service where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or misused our Products or content.

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, Recipes, prices, images, allergen notes, safety information and website content. However, errors, inaccuracies or omissions may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, cancel orders affected by material errors and change or discontinue Products at any time, subject to applicable law.

The information on our website and in our Products is provided for general use and should not be relied on as the sole basis for decisions relating to a child’s health, diet, allergies, development, medical condition, safety or suitability for any activity.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our website, Service and Products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, except for any warranties, guarantees, remedies or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or always available, or that Digital Products will be compatible with every device, printer, browser, operating system or software version.

We do not guarantee that our Recipes or Products will meet your expectations, suit every child, prevent injury, avoid all allergens, produce identical results, or be suitable for every dietary, cultural, religious, educational or medical requirement.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including any rights you may have in respect of defective, unsafe or misdescribed goods.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Little Chefs Club and its owners, directors, employees, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, service providers, licensors and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill or loss arising from misuse, inadequate supervision, unsuitable ingredients, allergic reactions, food handling, third-party services, delivery delays, device incompatibility or your use of or inability to use the Service or Products.

Where our liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, which may include replacement, repair, refund or re-supply of the relevant Product or Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Little Chefs Club and its owners, directors, employees, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, service providers, licensors and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost or expense arising from:

  • your breach of these Terms;
  • your misuse of the website, Service or Products;
  • your failure to supervise a child appropriately;
  • your use of unsuitable ingredients or failure to check allergens, labels or food safety requirements;
  • your User Content, including content involving children;
  • your infringement of any intellectual property, privacy or other rights; or
  • your violation of any law or third-party terms.

These Terms remain effective unless terminated by you or us. You may stop using our Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the website, account, downloads, promotions or Service if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, misused our Products, infringed our rights, engaged in fraud, or created legal, safety or reputational risk.

Any obligations that by their nature should survive termination will continue, including intellectual property restrictions, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnities and dispute provisions.

We will not be liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations where the failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, courier disruption, strikes, war, civil unrest, power outages, internet outages, supplier failures, pandemics, regulatory actions or other force majeure events.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law and the unenforceable part will be treated as severed. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

These Terms, together with any policies or product-specific terms referenced in them, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the website, Service and Products, and replace any prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals or agreements relating to the same subject matter.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific product page, promotion, licence or policy, the more specific term will apply to the extent of the conflict, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

These Terms and any separate agreement under which we provide Products or Services are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in another jurisdiction apply.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve your concern. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from approaching any consumer protection authority, ombud, regulator or court that you are legally entitled to approach.

We may update, change or replace these Terms from time to time by posting the updated version on our website. The updated Terms will apply from the date they are posted, unless a different date is stated. Your continued use of the website, Service or Products after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Little Chefs Club is a child-focused brand, but our website, checkout, newsletters and customer communications are intended for adults, parents, guardians, teachers and caregivers. We do not knowingly ask children to purchase products, create accounts, subscribe to marketing, or provide personal information directly to us.

If you submit information about a child, including a child’s name, age, photograph, video, voice, allergy, dietary requirement or product safety information, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you have the necessary authority and consent to share that information with us.

Please do not send us unnecessary personal details about a child, such as school names, exact locations, ID numbers, medical records or other sensitive information. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate adult consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify that information.

Where you voluntarily provide this information, you consent to us using it for the specific purpose for which you provided it, such as responding to your query, investigating a safety concern, improving our product warnings, or maintaining appropriate records. • consider and publish user-generated content, testimonials, reviews or social media posts where you have given consent or intentionally tagged/submitted content for this purpose.

When you provide personal information to complete a transaction, place an order, receive a digital download, arrange delivery, make a return, contact us or request support, we use that information for the purpose for which it was provided.

We may also process personal information where it is necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with the law, protect legitimate business interests, protect the safety of customers or children, prevent fraud or misuse, or where you have given consent.

Where we ask for consent for a secondary purpose, such as email marketing, sharing your testimonial, publishing a photo or using user-generated content, we will ask for your express consent or give you a clear opportunity to opt out where applicable.

If you subscribe to our newsletter or choose to receive updates, we may send you emails about Little Chefs Club products, digital recipe releases, recipe ideas, cooking tips, promotions, discount codes, events, safety updates and community news.

Our website may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to make the website work, remember preferences, understand website traffic, improve the shopping experience, support analytics, protect against fraud and, where applicable, deliver relevant marketing.

Cookies may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring pages and interaction data. Some cookies are necessary for the website and checkout to work. Other cookies, such as analytics or marketing cookies, may be optional depending on your cookie settings and applicable law.

You can usually disable cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the website, checkout or digital download process may not function properly if cookies are disabled. If we use non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, we should provide appropriate cookie notice and consent tools where required.

  • regulators, courts, law enforcement or other authorities where required or permitted by law;
  • a buyer, investor, successor or adviser if we restructure, sell or transfer all or part of our business.

Third-party providers process personal information according to their own privacy policies where they act independently, or according to our instructions where they act as service providers to us. You should review the privacy policies of payment gateways, social media platforms and other third-party websites you choose to use.

Some of our service providers may be located outside South Africa or may store information on servers in other countries. This means your personal information may be processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws.

Where we transfer personal information outside South Africa, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the transfer is lawful and that appropriate protections are in place, for example by using reputable service providers, contractual safeguards, consent where appropriate, or other mechanisms permitted by applicable law.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These measures may include secure hosting, access controls, password protection, encryption where appropriate, payment gateway security, backups, staff access limits and reasonable vendor checks.

No website, email system or online service is completely secure. You are responsible for using a secure device, protecting your login details if accounts are offered, and not sending unnecessary sensitive information by email or social media message.

If we become aware of a security compromise affecting personal information, we will take reasonable steps to investigate, contain and remediate the incident. Where required by law, we will notify affected individuals and/or the Information Regulator.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. For example:

  • order, invoice and tax records may be kept for legal, accounting and audit purposes;
  • customer support and product safety records may be kept for as long as needed to resolve queries, manage product safety obligations or defend legal claims;
  • marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent or we no longer need it for the purpose collected;
  • digital download and anti-fraud records may be kept to confirm purchases, manage access and protect our intellectual property;
  • user-generated content may remain published until removed by us or until you request removal, subject to legal and practical limitations.

When personal information is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify or securely archive it.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you;
  • request access to your personal information;
  • ask us to correct, update or delete inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, outdated, incomplete, misleading or unlawfully obtained personal information;

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • unsubscribe from direct marketing;
  • ask us to delete or stop publishing user-generated content you submitted, where reasonably possible;
  • complain to the Information Regulator if you believe your personal information has been processed unlawfully.

To exercise your rights, please contact us at hello@littlechefsclub.shop. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request. If your request relates to a child, we may need to verify that you are the child’s parent, guardian or authorised representative.

We love seeing families cook together. If you tag Little Chefs Club, send us photos or videos, submit a review or participate in a campaign, you may be sharing personal information about yourself and, potentially, a child.

We will not intentionally publish a child’s identifiable image, video, name or testimonial on our website, social media or marketing materials unless we have appropriate permission from a parent or legal guardian, or unless the content was clearly submitted by an authorised adult for that purpose.

By submitting or tagging content for possible reposting, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that you have obtained any necessary consent from the people shown or mentioned. You may ask us to remove reposted content by contacting hello@littlechefsclub.shop, although we cannot control content already shared, saved or reposted by third parties or social media platforms.

Our website, emails or social media pages may contain links to third-party websites, platforms or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security or policies of third-party websites or platforms. Once you leave our website or interact with a third-party platform, that third party’s own terms and privacy policy will apply.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will take effect when posted on our website, unless a later date is stated. If we make material changes, we may notify you on our website or by email where appropriate.

If you contact us about a product safety, quality or incident concern involving a child-friendly knife, utensil, recipe, food item, packaging or related product, we may ask for details such as your order number, batch details, product photos, description of the incident, child age range and relevant circumstances. We use this information to respond to you, investigate the concern, improve our products and warnings, liaise with suppliers or advisers, and comply with any legal obligations.

Please do not send us unnecessary medical records or excessive information about a child. If urgent medical attention is required, contact a healthcare professional or emergency service first.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will take effect when posted on our website, unless a later date is stated. If we make material changes, we may notify you on our website or by email where appropriate.

  • Adult: means a parent, guardian or responsible adult supervising a child’s use of Little Chefs Club products.
  • Order: means a confirmed purchase placed with Little Chefs Club.

Available delivery options, delivery fees and estimated delivery times will be displayed at checkout or confirmed in writing before payment. Depending on availability, we may offer one or more of the following:

  • digital delivery by email, account download link or another electronic download method.
  • courier delivery to a physical address.
  • PUDO locker delivery or other locker-based delivery service.
  • collection or local delivery, if expressly offered.
  • any other delivery option stated on the website from time to time.

Unless the product page or checkout states otherwise, physical delivery is only available within South Africa. We may refuse, cancel or refund an order if the selected delivery location is not serviceable by our delivery providers.

Digital Products are delivered electronically. After successful payment, you should receive access to the relevant Digital Product by email, download link, customer account access or another method stated at checkout.

If you do not receive your Digital Product, please check your spam, junk or promotions folder and then contact us hello@littlechefsclub.shop with your order number and payment confirmation. We will take reasonable steps to resend or restore access to the Digital Product.

Digital Products are not delivered as printed or physical items unless the product page expressly states that a printed version is included.

You are responsible for ensuring that you provide the correct email address when placing your order. If you entered the wrong email address, contact us as soon as possible so that we can try to assist.

We aim to process and dispatch physical orders within the timeframe displayed at checkout or on the applicable product page. If no specific dispatch timeframe is stated, we aim to process orders within a reasonable time after payment has cleared.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by payment verification, stock availability, packaging requirements, courier capacity, weather, strikes, public holidays, incorrect delivery details, remote delivery areas or events outside our reasonable control.

Where a product is listed as a pre-order, back-order, made-to-order item or limited release, the estimated dispatch or delivery timeframe on the product page will apply. If a material delay occurs, we will try to notify you using the contact details supplied with your order.

If a physical order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, we may either ship the order together once all items are available or split the shipment. Additional delivery charges may apply if you request separate deliveries.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information, including your name, email address, cellphone number, physical delivery address, suburb, postal code, province and any special delivery instructions.

For PUDO or locker-based deliveries, you are responsible for selecting the correct locker location, providing a valid cellphone number and collecting the parcel within the collection period set by the delivery provider. If a parcel is returned to us because it was not collected, we may charge a reasonable re-delivery fee.

If a parcel cannot be delivered because the delivery details are incorrect, incomplete or unavailable, or because no one is available to receive the parcel, the order may be returned to us. In that case, we may require payment of an additional delivery fee before resending the parcel.

We remain responsible for arranging delivery of your order until it is delivered to the address, locker or collection point selected for your order, subject to any incorrect information supplied by you.

Please inspect your parcel as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. If the parcel is visibly damaged, contains the wrong item, is missing items, or appears unsafe or defective, please contact us as soon as possible and within 7 days of delivery.

When reporting a delivery problem, please provide:

  • your order number;
  • your full name and contact details;
  • a clear description of the issue;
  • photographs of the parcel, packaging, product, delivery label and any damage; and
  • whether you would prefer a replacement, repair or refund, where applicable.

Do not use any product that appears damaged, unsafe or defective.

Because Digital Products are delivered electronically and can be accessed, downloaded, copied or printed immediately, Digital Products are not returnable and are not refundable once the Digital Product, file or download link has been sent, accessed or downloaded.

We may provide a refund, replacement file or corrected download link where:

  • you were charged twice for the same Digital Product in error.
  • we sent the incorrect Digital Product.
  • the file is corrupted, incomplete or materially defective and we are unable to provide a working version within a reasonable time.
  • you did not receive access to the Digital Product and we cannot reasonably resolve the access issue.
  • a refund is required by applicable law.

We do not offer refunds for Digital Products because you changed your mind, bought the wrong product, no longer need the product, do not have access to a printer or compatible device. This does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.

Digital Products may not be shared, copied, resold, redistributed or uploaded to other platforms except as allowed in our Terms of Service or with our written permission.

If you bought a Physical Product online and wish to return it because you changed your mind, please contact us within 5 days after receiving the product.

To qualify for a change-of-mind return, the product must be:

  • unused, unwashed and undamaged.
  • complete with all parts, accessories, recipe cards, inserts and packaging included.
  • in its original packaging, where reasonably possible.
  • returned in accordance with the return instructions.

For hygiene and product safety reasons, we may refuse a change-of-mind return for utensils, children’s knives, cutting boards, food-contact items or other products that have been used, washed, damaged, opened in a way that affects resale, or cannot be safely resold.

For change-of-mind returns, the direct cost of returning the product will be for your account, unless we agree otherwise or applicable law requires us to pay the return cost. Original delivery fees may not be refunded unless required by law or unless the return is due to our error.

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, unsafe, materially different from what you ordered, or missing a material part, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs.

Where a product is confirmed to be damaged, defective, unsafe or incorrectly supplied, we will deal with the matter in accordance with applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, exchange or refund.

A product will not be treated as defective merely because of normal wear and tear, minor colour or packaging variations, misuse, failure to follow safety instructions, lack of adult supervision, accidental damage, improper storage, unauthorised modification, or use for a purpose for which the product was not intended.

Some Little Chefs Club products may be sold as kits or bundles. If you return a kit or bundle, all items included in the kit or bundle must be returned unless we agree otherwise.

If a kit or bundle includes both Digital Products and Physical Products, the Digital Product portion will be treated separately for refund purposes because it may already have been delivered electronically.

If only one item in a kit or bundle is damaged, defective or incorrect, we may replace that item rather than refunding the full kit, unless applicable law requires a different remedy.

Subject to applicable law, we may refuse returns or refunds for:

  • Digital Products that have already been sent, accessed or downloaded.
  • products damaged through misuse, neglect, unauthorised repair, improper storage or failure to follow instructions.
  • used, washed or incomplete utensils, knives, cutting boards or other food-contact items, unless defective.
  • products returned without all parts, accessories, inserts, packaging or proof of purchase.
  • gift cards, vouchers or promotional codes unless required by law.
  • sale or clearance products where the defect or reason for reduced price was clearly disclosed before purchase.
  • personalised, customised or made-to-order products, unless defective or incorrectly supplied.

If you want to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been processed, dispatched or digitally delivered, we will try to cancel it and refund you.

If a Physical Product has already been dispatched, you may need to follow the returns process after delivery. If a Digital Product has already been delivered or accessed, the digital refund rules in this policy will apply.

We may cancel and refund an order if a product is unavailable, there is a pricing or product description error, payment is not received or verified, delivery is not possible to your selected location, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse of the website.

To request a return, exchange or refund, please contact us before sending any product back.

  1. Email us at hello@littlechefsclub.shop with your order number, name and contact details.
  2. Explain the reason for the return, exchange or refund request.
  3. Attach clear photos where the product is damaged, defective, unsafe, incorrect or incomplete.
  4. Wait for our return instructions and return address or courier guidance.
  5. Package the product securely. You are responsible for ensuring that returned products are packaged safely to avoid damage during return transit.
  6. Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will confirm the outcome of the request.

Products sent back without prior communication may be delayed, refused or returned to you.

Approved refunds will usually be processed to the original payment method, unless we agree otherwise. Refund timing may depend on your bank, card issuer, payment gateway or other payment provider.

We may deduct or exclude delivery charges, return courier charges, payment provider fees or reasonable restoration costs where permitted by law and where the return is not due to our error or a product defect.

If you received a promotional discount, voucher, bundle price or free delivery, any refund may be adjusted to reflect the actual amount paid and the terms of the promotion.

Refunds are only made to the original purchaser unless we are legally required or expressly agree to do otherwise.

Little Chefs Club products are designed to support children’s participation in age-appropriate kitchen activities under adult supervision. They are not toys and must not be used without an Adult present.

A return or refund will not be provided solely because a child is not ready for a particular activity, does not like a particular recipe, or because a parent or caregiver decides that an activity is not suitable for that child, unless the product is defective, incorrectly described or a refund is otherwise required by law.

Parents and caregivers are responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, dietary suitability, food safety, age suitability and safe use of all kitchen tools, utensils, recipes and activities before purchasing any products.
